So, this is mainly going to be about theatre - what’s on, what I’ve seen, what’s good, what’s… not. Etc etc. As well as the occasional completely and utterly unrelated post. Oh yes… look forward to them!
I would like to start, though, by talking about the site’s name. You see, I think that guy/girl who comes out with the broom at interval and sweeps up is completely taken for granted. Think about it: they get to be backstage, see everything that goes on, meet everyone involved and get paid!! PLUS they get to have a solo moment on the stage, just them and the broom and the audience… a touching moment. Really, I think they’ve got it made. And so, this website is a tribute to the humble stage-sweeper, who sweeps the stage both literally and metaphorically.
